There is no better expert for your business than you. Your website is a powerful marketing/advertising tool that performs best when maintained (in whole or in part) by you, the business owner. One of the best things I can do as a web designer/developer is to create a site that can be easily updated and maintained internally by you the client. Content Management Systems (CMS) make that possible because they do not require advanced technological expertise to maintain. All major online news organizations and a staggering number of businesses in all sectors are moving to a CMS because of it’s ease of use and cost effectiveness. A trained tech is not required for day to day operation/maintenance of your website which means you, the owner, save money. Add to that, the SEO aspect – Google, Yahoo, Bing, etc, favor CMS or blog applications like Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, Blogger, etc. because of the dynamic nature of the application and inherent SEF structure.
I will build the site, customize it to your specifications, then train you (and/or your staff) on how to use it. There will be times when a tech is genuinely needed. Code is constantly being modified and sometimes issues arise as a result of the ever changing nature of the web. But you will have the power to update as necessary without having to track down and pay outrageous sums to a tech.
Landing pages, sales pages and mini (or micro) sites are best left to those with experience. A lot of marketing knowledge and ad copywriting experience goes into the construction of an effective landing page or sales page.

The most successful keyword strategies will not save a mediocre site, keep your viewers interested or substantially increase your conversions.
